Marcel C. Rivas, MS

Marcel C. Rivas brings over 30 years of experience in human services, with a strong focus on child welfare, spanning direct service, senior management, and administrative leadership. He holds a B.A. in Psychology and Economics, an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University, and an A.A. in Business Administration from Miami Dade College. He is certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).

Marcel currently serves as Director of Case Management & Professional Development at Citrus Family Care Network, the lead agency for foster care and adoption in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. Previously, he was Vice President of Operations at Stabilify, a technology provider for human service organizations. A dedicated advocate for quality care, Marcel has volunteered for over 20 years as a Commissioner and Team Leader with the Council on Accreditation (COA).
